Stuart M. Feldheim is the principal and founding partner of Feldheim & Wilenkin, P.C. He is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1969. He thereafter attended the University of Cincinnati and received a Bachelor’s Degree Magna Cum Laude in 1973. Thereafter, he attended the University of Cincinnati College of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor in 1976.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Feldheim worked as an associate at the Law Offices of Charles R. Miller, LTD in Cleveland, Ohio practicing in the field of personal injury with emphasis on auto accidents, medical malpractice, construction site injury and workers compensation claims.
In 1980, Mr. Feldheim moved to Michigan and began employment as an associate attorney at the law firm of Lopatin, Miller, P.C. While at the Lopatin law firm, he tried numerous cases in Federal and State Courts involving product liability, auto accidents and premises liability claims.
In 1985, Mr. Feldheim went to work at the Law Firm of Provizer, Eisenberg, Lichtenstein & Pearlman, P.C. where he worked as an associate and then partner specializing in claims of personal injury. He tried medical malpractice, product liability, auto, construction site, FELA, and premises liability cases.
In 1992, Mr. Feldheim founded his own firm specializing in cases involving medical malpractice, automobile, truck and motorcycle accidents, construction site injuries, electrocutions, product liability, pharmaceutical negligence and claims involving premises liability.
Mr. Feldheim is a member of the Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) and the American Association for Justice (AAJ). He has been a guest lecturer in the area of product liability law.
Mr. Feldheim is a member of the Wayne County Case Evaluation Tribunal. He is authorized by the Tribunal to sit on case panels hearing both medical malpractice and general personal injury claims.
Mr. Feldheim has successfully represented thousands of injured claimants and has secured numerous verdicts and/or settlements in excess of a million dollars. Mr. Feldheim recently settled a construction site injury claim for 1.3 million dollars on behalf of a bulldozer operator who sustained a cervical herniated disc on the job site. He also recently settled a medical malpractice wrongful death claim with a payout in excess of 1.2 million dollars. Several years ago he settled an electrocution wrongful death case for 3.2 million dollars and an automobile wrongful death case for 1.4 million dollars.
Mr. Feldheim is licensed to practice in the state courts of Michigan and Ohio as well as Federal District Courts in those states. He is also licensed before the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. One of Mr. Feldheim’s jury verdicts against a truck manufacturer for $500,000 was appealed to the Michigan Supreme Court. The Supreme Court affirmed his client’s personal injury verdict ruling that he had successfully proven that a truck trailer was negligently designed as found by the jury.
Mr. Feldheim adheres to the belief that any personal injury claimant should be fully informed about his or her rights so that they can make informed decisions about to how to proceed with their personal injury claim. He believes that client’s phone calls should be returned promptly and that clients should be frequently updated as to the status of their injury claim.
